Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using SPENT you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SPENT.

SPENT reads your iPhone Screen Time — either via the Screen Time permission on eligible Apple devices or from a Screen Time screenshot you provide — and generates a receipt summarizing where your time went during a chosen period.

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to install and use SPENT on Apple devices you own or control.

You agree to use SPENT lawfully and only with content and accounts you are authorized to use. You are responsible for the device on which SPENT runs and for the screenshots you select.

SPENT requires either the iOS Screen Time permission or access to a Screen Time screenshot from your photo library to function. You may revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings, in which case SPENT may not be able to generate new receipts.

Screen Time data and screenshots can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Extracted values, categorizations, projections, and any commentary shown on receipts are estimates for informational and entertainment purposes and may contain errors.

SPENT Pro is offered as a lifetime, non-consumable in-app purchase through Apple. The price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase applies. SPENT Pro is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.

Eligible SPENT Pro purchases can be restored using the same Apple Account that made the original purchase, via the "Restore Purchases" option in the app.

Payment is processed by Apple. Refund and billing requests are handled under Apple's policies. You may request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

SPENT uses RevenueCat to help verify and restore SPENT Pro purchases, and Apple's public App Store lookup service to obtain readable app names from bundle identifiers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. See the Privacy Policy for details on what information is shared.

SPENT, its interface, receipt designs, copy, and branding are owned by Michael Hitzker and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share the receipts you generate for personal, non-commercial use.

SPENT's receipts, projections, and commentary are informational and sometimes humorous. They are not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Do not rely on SPENT to make important decisions about your health, finances, or well-being.

SPENT is provided as-is and may change over time. Features may be added, modified, or removed. Third-party services SPENT relies on (such as Apple's App Store lookup) may also change or become unavailable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPENT is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Michael Hitzker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of SPENT.

You may stop using SPENT at any time by deleting the app. These Terms remain in effect for any prior use.

Unless a separate custom end-user license agreement is published for SPENT in App Store Connect, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of SPENT and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL, with an updated "Last updated" date above.
