Privacy Policy

SPENT turns your iPhone Screen Time into a printable "receipt". It runs on your device, does not require an account, and does not upload your Screen Time details or screenshots to a SPENT server.

To generate a receipt, SPENT works with one of the following:

• Screen Time activity that iOS provides after you grant permission on eligible Apple devices.
• A Screen Time screenshot that you choose from your photo library as an alternative.

From these, SPENT extracts app names, categories, and usage durations for the selected period, and uses them to compute the receipt shown in the app.

Screen Time information and any selected screenshot are analyzed on your device. Screenshots, usage durations, and extracted Screen Time details are not uploaded to a SPENT server and are not sent to Firebase. SPENT does not operate a user account system.

Generated receipts and the data they contain are stored locally on your device so you can view them later. You can delete individual saved receipts inside the app at any time. Removing the SPENT app from your device removes its locally stored data, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior (for example, an iCloud or encrypted device backup you have configured).

SPENT may also keep a local Screen Time checkpoint on your device so that repeated imports are counted correctly and the same activity is not double-counted.

To display a human-readable app name for an app referenced in your Screen Time, SPENT may send that app's bundle identifier to Apple's public App Store lookup service. SPENT does not send your usage durations, your screenshots, or any personally identifying information with that lookup.

SPENT Pro is offered as an in-app purchase. Apple processes App Store payments. SPENT uses RevenueCat to help verify and restore SPENT Pro purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, product information, transaction status, and limited device and app information required to manage purchases.

SPENT does not send RevenueCat or Apple your screenshots or your Screen Time usage amounts.

SPENT uses Google's Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics SDKs to understand how the app is used and to improve stability. These services do not receive your Screen Time details, your screenshots, your extracted usage amounts, or your generated receipts.

Firebase Analytics may collect:

• An app-instance / device identifier.
• Approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Purchase / subscription events.
• Product-interaction and app-lifecycle events.

Firebase Crashlytics may collect:

• Crash reports and stack traces.
• App state information at the time of a crash.
• Limited device and OS diagnostic information.

This information is used for usage analytics and to diagnose crashes. It is not used for advertising, not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and not sold.

SPENT does not sell personal information. SPENT shares only what is described in this policy: bundle identifiers with Apple's App Store lookup for readable app names; purchase-related information with Apple and RevenueCat for the purposes described above; and analytics and diagnostic data with Google/Firebase as described above.

SPENT does not contain third-party advertising. SPENT does not use Screen Time information for advertising. SPENT does not use Firebase analytics or crash data for advertising. SPENT does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not sell your personal information.

Because Screen Time details and screenshots stay on your device, you control retention. To delete data:

• Open SPENT and delete individual saved receipts from within the app.
• Delete the SPENT app from your device to remove its locally stored data (subject to any device or iCloud backups you have configured).

You can revoke SPENT's permissions at any time from iOS Settings:

• Screen Time: Settings → Screen Time, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Time.
• Photos: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → SPENT.

Revoking permissions may prevent SPENT from generating new receipts.

No personal information is knowingly collected from children through a SPENT account or server, because SPENT does not operate an account system and does not upload Screen Time details to its own server.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL, with an updated "Last updated" date above.
